ATLANTA – RealEstateRama – Operation HOPE today announced the appointment of Jason Schraub as Vice President and member of the senior management group, effective October 8. Schraub has served as Regional Vice President – Midwest for the past 18 months, responsible for all HOPE development, partnerships, and government relations in the region. In his new role, Jason will focus on developing and managing relationships with partners in multiple markets throughout the country and will continue to drive revenue into the Chicago market and Midwest region.

Prior to joining Operation HOPE, Schraub founded and led JS Innovation Consulting, providing sales consulting, CRM technology, and deal-structuring services for midsized companies and emerging technologies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, and an Executive Certificate in Board Leadership from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Schraub serves on the executive committee of the JCYS Board of Directors, as president of the University of Virginia Alumni Association of Chicago, and on the membership committee of the Standard Club. He resides in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.
“I have complete confidence that Jason will excel in his expanded role and work collectively to exceed our development goals,” said Operation HOPE Chief of Staff and Partnerships Mary Ehrsam. “He brings a contagious hustle and “can-do” spirit to every department objective and partner engagement.”
About Operation HOPE
Since 1992, Operation HOPE has been moving America from civil rights to “silver rights” with the mission of making free enterprise and capitalism work for the underserved—disrupting poverty for millions of low- and moderate-income families across the nation. Through our community uplift model, HOPE Inside, which received the 2016 Innovator of the Year recognition by American Banker magazine, Operation HOPE has served more than 4 million individuals and directed more than $3.2 billion in economic activity into disenfranchised communities—turning check cashing customers into banking customers, renters into homeowners, small business dreamers into small business owners, minimum wage workers into living wage consumers, and uncertain disaster victims into financially empowered disaster survivors. Project 5117 is our multi-year four-pronged approach to combating economic inequality that aims to improve financial literacy, increase business role models and business internships for youth in underserved communities, and stabilize the American dream by boosting FICO scores. Operation HOPE recently received its fourth consecutive 4-star charity rating for fiscal management and commitment to transparency and accountability by the prestigious non-profit evaluator, Charity Navigator.
