Mayor Bowser Announces Job Creation and Affordable Housing Developments at 5th Annual March Madness

(Washington, DC) — (RealEstateRama) — On Tuesday, March 26, at 2:15 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser and Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Brian Kenner will host the fifth annual March Madness, a special preview of new and upcoming development projects to provide more quality affordable housing, support for small businesses and job opportunities for all District residents.

Mayor Bowser will also participate in a panel discussion with US Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) to highlight how the Opportunity Zones program can be leveraged to support economic growth and inclusive development in underserved communities.

Mayor Bowser will also announce the recipients of the Fiscal Year 2019 Dream Grants, which support new or existing microbusinesses owned and operated by residents in Wards 7 and 8.
