NAIOP Selects Six Outstanding Professionals to Receive 2013 Developing Leaders Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 17, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has selected six young professionals to receive its coveted 2013 Developing Leaders Award. The award is given to up-and-coming professionals under the age of 35 who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues and show great promise as future industry leaders and will be presented on October 9, 2013, at Development ’13: The Annual Meeting for Commercial Real Estate in San Diego, Calif.

These individuals are being recognized for their insight, strategic vision and leadership qualities that undoubtedly will help grow the industry, guiding it as it adapts to emerging trends and market conditions and implementing diverse approaches in business decisions,” said Thomas J. Bisacquino, president and CEO of NAIOP. “Together, they have the ability to set our industry apart and make it a powerful example for others to follow.”

Established in 2006, the Developing Leaders Award has been given to rising industry professionals from across NAIOP’s chapter network in all sectors of commercial real estate. This year’s winners will be feted at a luncheon entitled “Top Trends That Will Shape the Future Marketplace” on October 9, featuring famed author, business analyst and futurist James Cannon, PhD.
