New Student-Built Affordable Housing Completed in Davis County

May 28, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The ECHO program (Educationally Constructed Housing Opportunities) was created by Utah Housing to provide financing to build affordable homes and prepare students for jobs in the construction industry by using a student workforce. The well-built homes are sold to moderateincome households. The school receives a builder’s fee for building the home.
