AGC has extended the Call for Presentations until March 18th

Washington, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — AGC will hold its fifth Contractors Environmental Conference (CEC) on October 5-6, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The CEC is a yearly management, leadership and technology-focused conference that zeros in on the most critical environmental issues impacting today’s construction professionals. Past attendees agree that this one-of-a-kind program provides contractors with the information and resources to meet environmental requirements, sustainability initiatives, and remain competitive in the marketplace. Presentation proposals are being accepted online at www.agc.org/enviroCFP through March 18th.

The conference schedule will include educational sessions, case studies, roundtable discussions and updates on federal regulatory activities. We meet in an intimate setting that fosters valuable feedback, networking, and meaningful face-to-face interaction amongst peers, industry experts and federal regulators. Since the conference is about a month before the 2016 presidential election, AGC will hold a special session that explores the candidates’ environmental records.

Submit a Presentation Proposal

We invite you to submit a presentation proposal to be offered at the 2016 CEC. Submissions will only be accepted online at www.agc.org/enviroCFP and must be entered by close of business March 18, 2016, to be considered. Please be sure to read the guidelines (posted to the CFP page) before submitting your information for consideration.

Location, Location, Location!

The Hyatt Regency Washington Capitol Hill is just steps away from the Nation’s Capitol Building, the National Mall and Smithsonian Museums, as well as the National Building Museum (our favorite museum). It’s also right across the street from DC’s first LEED certified green building and down the road from a green streets demonstration project. The hotel is close to several restaurants. And, as it is located on Capitol Hill, it is also very convenient for visiting the U.S. House or Senate Congressional offices.

Please mark your calendars for the 2016 CEC and stay tuned for more information and online registration at http://meetings.agc.org/cec/ (link is external).
