WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 6, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Greta Harris, a long-time member of LISC’s leadership team, is taking over as president and CEO of the Better Housing Coalition (BHC), one of Richmond’s leading community development organizations and an important LISC local partner there. While at LISC, Harris has been a tremendous voice for healthy, sustainable communities, especially in her home state of Virginia, where she led our Virginia LISC program for nine of her 16 years at LISC, before her promotion to vice president. “We will miss her clear sense of purpose and keen eye for smart, community-focused strategies,” said LISC President and CEO Michael Rubinger. “But this is not good-bye. We are thrilled that BHC will have such strong leadership, and we look forward to working closely with Greta on programs that benefit low-income Richmond residents for many years to come.”
