Webinar: An Introduction to SSVF and Overview of Compliance & Reporting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 2, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — The VA National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans is holding a webinar, “An Introduction to SSVF and Overview of Compliance & Reporting,” on Sept. 25 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

On Aug. 11, 2014 the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) announced awards of $300 million that will help approximately 115,000 homeless and at-risk veterans and their families. The grants will be issued to 301 community agencies in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands and additional award announcements are expected. SSVF is one of the primary interventions offered by VA in its drive to end homelessness among veterans. This broadcast will help grantees in their development of appropriate program designees, and will provide both grantees and potential applicants of SSVF grants with background information about program goals, resources, and expectations.
