WASHINGTON – RealEstateRama – Last night, U.S. Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) joined Special Report on Fox News to discuss their bill to help more Americans buy their first home.

The Uplifting First-Time Homebuyers Act would increase the Individual Retirement Account (IRA) tax exception withdrawal limit from $10,000 to $50,000, better reflecting today’s housing market. Updating the IRA withdrawal limit will unlock more opportunities for Americans to become homeowners and invest in their future.

Young and Gallego also discussed the ongoing federal government shutdown.
