“The Greenbuild Celebration is a longstanding tradition that brings the green building community together to celebrate our successes while kicking back to enjoy great entertainment in a high-energy atmosphere,” said Rick Fedrizzi, CEO and founding chair, USGBC. “As Los Angeles marks my last official Greenbuild, I want to make sure this is a very special event, so we have two of the most amazing musical talents today, X Ambassadors, and L.A.’s own Aloe Blacc, joining us for an outdoor concert that is sure to make this year’s Greenbuild truly ‘Iconic Green.’”

Blacc is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer and actor, and his best known singles include “I Need a Dollar” and “The Man.” He also co-wrote and sang vocals on Swedish DJ Avicii’s “Wake Me Up,” which has sold more than 2.8 million copies in the U.S. alone, and climbed to #1 in 102 countries across the globe.

Ithaca, New York-based X Ambassadors make passionate, dark, electronic-based pop centered around the throaty, soulful vocals of Sam Harris. Formed in 2009, their most notable songs include “Unsteady,” “Low Life,” “Jungle” and “Renegades.” The band’s debut full-length album, “VHS,” was released on June 30, 2015 to critical acclaim.

“We try to be as environmentally conscious as we can while we’re on tour, so we’re so thrilled to be a part of spreading the word about sustainability at the Greenbuild Conference this year,” said X Ambassadors. “It’s a cause we sincerely believe in and we’re honored to be a part of this event.”
