President Grants Limited Disaster Declaration, Governor Jindal Requests Full Declaration to Protect Life, Property

BATON ROUGE – August 28, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Following a very limited federal disaster declaration by the President of the United States that only granted a portion of the state’s request, Governor Bobby Jindal sent a letter to the federal government requesting a full disaster declaration for the state.
