**Publix-anchored center planned as third project in the region
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Charlotte, N.C. – July 23, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Stiles, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in South Florida, continues its rapid expansion in North Carolina. The company announced today that it has entered into a lease agreement with Lakeland, Fla.-based Publix Super Markets, Inc. for a third new shopping center in Charlotte.
Named Mint Hill Commons, the center will be located at the intersection of Highway 51 and Brighton Park Drive, in the Town of Mint Hill. It plans to feature a 49,000-square-foot Publix Super Market and approximately 17,000 square feet of inline shops and restaurants. The project will also include one outparcel and a drive-through Publix pharmacy. In addition, the project includes a planned Phase two, which will consist of single-family homes. Expected ground breaking is first quarter 2014.

Stiles’ first project in North Carolina, Ballantyne Commons, is in partnership with Harris Land Company and Levine Properties, and is now under construction with plans to deliver in early 2014. Stiles’ second project, Shops at Southline, will break ground late this summer and be completed in late 2014.
