Schumer today announced more than $1.1 million in federal U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) vouchers for public housing agencies in New York City that have agreed to provide rental assistance to in-need veterans. The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs
