SAMHSA Announces Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals – Services in Supportive Housing
WASHINGTON, D.C. - March 4, 2014 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2014 Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals-Services in Supportive Housing (GBHI-SSH). The purpose of this program is to support the development and/or expansion of local implementation and community infrastructures that integrate treatment and services for substance use, co-occurring substance use and mental disorders, permanent housing, and other critical services for the following: veterans who experience homelessness or chronic homelessness, and other individuals (non-veterans) who experience chronic homelessness.
Duluth receives U.S. EPA’s first Great Lakes Shoreline Cities Green Infrastructure Grant
DULUTH - February 21, 2014 - (RealEstateRama) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today announced the award of a $250,000 Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grant to the City of Duluth to fund green infrastructure projects to improve water quality in the Lake Superior Basin.
