HDC welcomes Joni Hartmann as HDC Community Fund Executive Director and HDC Deputy Director.

Washington, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Housing Development Center is extremely pleased to announce that Joni Hartmann has joined our staff in the dual role of HDC Community Fund Executive Director and HDC Deputy Director. As HDC Community Fund Executive Director, Joni will be responsible for our lending activities, working directly with both funders and borrowers. As HDC Deputy Director, Joni will be a member of HDC’s management team; she will supervise and support HDC’s asset management team as well as provide direct client services across our development and asset management programs.

About Joni: A demonstrated leader, manager and partnership builder, Joni is committed to working collaboratively with customers and community partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. She has 20 years of experience in real estate lending and an extensive knowledge of affordable housing finance, having worked on many projects using federal, state and local financing. Previously, as deputy director of Network for Oregon Affordable Housing (NOAH) for 13 years, Joni oversaw NOAH’s lending functions, managed its affordable housing loan portfolio, and contributed to community-wide efforts to improve regional affordable housing policies and programs. Joni’s broad range of experience includes managing community lending operations for a commercial bank; underwriting loans for a commercial mortgage lender; and providing asset management of LIHTC-financed multifamily housing portfolios for a private real estate investment firm. Joni has an MBA from University of Oregon and a B.A. in international affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
