Rep. Sherrill: “The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Delivers for New Jersey”

Parsippany, NJ – RealEstateRama – Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill released the following statement commending today’s announcement of the allocation of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding towards 25 passenger rail projects on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor.

I worked hard to ensure we had robust federal funding for the Gateway Tunnel Project, Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, and transportation hubs like Newark Penn Station, which will make a real, everyday impact on the lives of New Jersey commuters and bring new economic prosperity. These projects are creating good union jobs in our state and opening new doors for economic opportunities for families by boosting transit access and reliability.
