Rock Hill broker Jay Rinehart receives SC REALTORS® Omega Tau Rho Medallion of Service

COLUMBIA, S.C. – RealEstateRama – South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) has awarded Rinehart Realty Corporation’s broker Jay Rinehart with its Omega Tau Rho Medallion of Service. The award was presented at SCR’s awards gala in Columbia in November.

The Medallion of Service symbolizes contributions to the Realtor® association and industry.

Jay Rinehart has held many leadership positions throughout his real estate career both within his industry and his community. He is a past president of SCR and has been active in countless committees as chair and vice-chair. At the National Association of REATORS® (NAR) he has held positions such as a current member of the NAR board of directors and 2020 NAR Region 4 Vice President representing South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennesee and Kentucky.

He also has held member and chair positions within the NAR Federal Taxation Committee, Legal Action Committee and Finance Committee. He has served on numerous committees and the board of directors at his local association, the Piedmont Regional Association of REALTORS®.

Rinehart has served on many boards of directors throughout his local York County and State community including the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina, South Carolina Christian Foundation, York County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Rock Hill School District Foundation. He also serves in multiple capacities at First Baptist Church, the Cultural & Heritage Museum and other organizations.
