The foundation is providing mortgage or rent relief up to $1,000 to those who qualify.

The relief is available to South Carolina residents who have suffered property damage to their primary residence as a result of the severe flooding event that took place in October 2015. Assistance is limited to $1,000 per applicant and one grant per residence. The deadline for application submission is November 30, 2015.

“Realtors® want to help – it’s what we do in our communities every day. This grant will provide short-term assistance with mortgage or rent payments and allow victims to focus on rebuilding and repairing their homes,” said SCR 2015 President Fritzi Barbour.
