Washington – RealEstateRama – The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) will partner with the Daisie Foundation, a non-profit that specializes in random acts of kindness, to distribute new clothes and accessories to 150 pre-registered CHA residents at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 29, 2021 at the Charles A. Hayes Center, 4859 S. Wabash.

The residents are CHA college students and participants of CHA workforce programs. They will have 24 garment racks of clothes to shop from.

Banana Republic donated the clothes to the Daisie Foundation. CHA is one of two organizations with which Daisie Foundation is partnering.

The distribution is sponsored by Springboard to Success (S2S), CHA’s non-profit partner.

Residents will shop in a socially distant manner, spread out throughout the day. Pre-registered residents who signed up to participate have been given specific time frames for shopping to reduce capacity.
