IBTS to provide Green Certification Verification Services in rehabilitation efforts of the St. Francis Apartment complex located in Meridian, Mississippi

Ashburn, VA – November 25, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) – IBTS has been selected by Standard Enterprises Inc. (SEI) as their exclusive provider of Green Certification Verification Services for the rehabilitation of the St. Francis Apartment complex located in Meridian, Mississippi.  The complex contains 90 apartment units throughout 14 buildings.  IBTS will provide Green Design Consulting Services as well as necessary energy audits & testing as identified in the National Green Building Standard™ for Energy Consumption Reduction and Water Consumption Reduction.

IBTS will work closely with SEI in developing the project scoring to ensure that all requirements are built into the project so that consistent and thorough scoring and proper certification is assured from the beginning.  This includes conducting plan reviews for green efforts as well as follow-up, rough?in, and final inspections to verify plans are properly followed.

IBTS will provide the necessary testing as identified in the ICC 700?2012 National Green Building Standard™ for Energy Consumption Reduction and Water Consumption Reduction.  Testing will be coordinated with SEI Project Management to collect the necessary utility and consumption data so that the percentage difference between pre- and post-remodel usage can be properly calculated.

Certification data, scores, reports, and other necessary documents required for verification will be managed by IBTS.  IBTS will implement a web-based system of documentation archival and verification for project success.
