Nixon Peabody LLP and Building America’s Future Educational Fund Team Up to Help New York with Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

Washington, D.C. – January 30, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Nixon Peabody LLP was engaged by the Building America’s Future Educational Fund to assist New York City in obtaining Federal relief funding in the wake of natural disaster Hurricane Sandy. The firm’s government relations team, led by the Honorable Tom Reynolds, was successful in helping to ensure that more than $50 billion will be disbursed to New York City.

The Hurricane Sandy Relief Bill was passed by Congress earlier this week and was signed into law by President Obama.
