IBTS’s Greg Seldon has accepted a new role as the Director of Strategic Partnerships.

WASHINGTON, D.C. –- (RealEstateRama) — The Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is pleased to announce that its own Greg Seldon will be transitioning to a new position as Director of Strategic Partnerships in the coming weeks.

Due to the considerable growth that the organization has seen in the past few years, it became apparent to the IBTS executive team that a new role was necessary to maintain relationships with state, municipal, and county associations as well as other nonprofits and solution providers.

Greg has served IBTS for the past five years as the Director of Marketing and Development, where he has expanded the leadership team, services, clients, and research and development projects. In his new position as Director of Strategic Partnerships, Greg will take on the responsibilities of developing and implementing partnership strategies to increase the IBTS reach; representing IBTS with active participation in state, municipal, and county associations; providing industry insight and innovation; and evangelizing IBTS thought leadership externally through participation in industry associations and councils, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and executive briefings.

“This new position will support our growth and fill an important need of having an ambassador for the organization,” says Shyam Choudhary, Chief Operating Officer at IBTS. “I want to convey a sincere thanks to Greg for his work in helping us expand our business and I look forward to the continued benefit of his leadership in the years to come.”

“I’m honored to have been selected for this role and the opportunities it will bring both myself and IBTS as a whole,” says Greg Seldon. “It has been a privilege to lead the Marketing and Development team over the past five years and I look forward to building relationships and identifying upcoming opportunities as the Director of Strategic Partnerships.”
