New Models Include One Furnished Home and One De-Constructed Home For a Rare Behind-the-Scenes Look at Lennar’s Quality Construction

MONROE, NJ – October 7, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — When Lennar introduces its new “Twin” model homes during a Grand Opening Event on Saturday, Oct. 15th at Greenbriar Stonebridge in Monroe Twp., NJ, active-adult buyers will have an opportunity to explore a model home unlike any other.

For example, one of the 12 stations in the new model will be a cut-out column in the corner of the family room which will expose such materials and systems as Post Load beams, TJI floor joists, joist hangers, wall blocking, nail plates and fire caulk. Corresponding explanations of the purpose served by each will be provided. In the kitchen, one of the stations will show how the cabinets are constructed and secured into the wall. Other stations will include information on electrical outlets, hardwood floors, plumbing and laundry facilities.

“There is a lot more to a home than square footage and number of bedrooms,” Mr. Bompensa points out. “Our goal in creating this de-constructed model was to give our buyers an appreciation for everything that goes on behind the walls and how it all works together to create a comfortable, efficient residential experience.”
