Silver Spring, MD (June 16, 2023) – RealEstateRama – MHP and Discover Long Branch invite the public to celebrate summer in Long Branch while supporting local businesses at the second annual Sip ‘N Shuck event on June 24 at Flower Ave Urban Park.

As its name implies, Sip N’ Shuck features beer, wine and raw oysters for sale. Food and beverages will be provided by Ocean City Seafood, purveyor of fresh Atlantic seafood, and Motorkat, Takoma Park’s newest wood-fired grill and raw bar. Free family-friendly entertainment will include live jazz music and outdoor lawn games, and adults can join a drinks crawl. Patrons can explore the colorful and charming Flower Branch Urban Park and playground while discovering an array of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.

“As a father of three and a local resident, I love how Sip N’ Shuck offers something for everyone,” said Chris Gillis, MHP Policy & Neighborhood Development Director. “You don’t need to leave the Silver Spring and Takoma Park area to experience the tastes of summer, and you can relax and enjoy refreshments while your kids play in the park. It’s an awesome event!”
