Menendez Calls for the Immediate Suspension of Foreclosures & Evictions for All New Jersey Homeowners Struggling to Recover from Hurricane Sandy

WASHINGTON, DC – November 14, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) today called on the New Jersey Attorney General to issue a moratorium that would suspend foreclosure sales and evictions, delay the initiation of any foreclosure action, waive late payment charges and put a hold on credit reporting for borrowers with homes located in eligible disaster areas. Menendez is urging swift action to expand emergency mortgage payment relief to all New Jersey homeowners who have suffered damage to their home or experienced a disruption in income as a result of Hurricane Sandy
