– Nation’s largest online lender expands office to accommodate hiring boom –

Scottsdale, AZ – June 28, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Detroit-based Quicken Loans Inc., the nation’s largest online home loan lender and fourth largest retail mortgage lender, today announced plans to add an additional 200 team members to its Scottsdale Internet Web Lending Center. The new hires will join the current team of 400 team members working at 16245 N. Pima Road. The new Scottsdale-based positions are in mortgage banking, mortgage operations, and underwriting.

To accommodate its continued growth, the Scottsdale Web Center is expanding its current 40,000 square foot office to 60,000 square feet. Matt Stoffer, Quicken Loans Vice President and leader of the Scottsdale location, said the expansion comes just in time as the Phoenix Business Journals’ ‘Best Places to Work in the Valley’ winner has continued to see unprecedented growth since opening the office in 2007.

“The amount of calls we’ve received from clients looking to take advantage of record low mortgage rates and improve their financial situation has been incredible,” said Stoffer, who added that the Scottsdale Web Center has seen loan volume more than double in 2012 compared to this time last year.

“Each of our team members will play an integral role in meeting this demand and providing an amazing mortgage experience to every client, every time,” said Stoffer. “Quicken Loans is looking for passionate people who fit well in a company culture that is anything but corporate. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a growing company in which people love coming to work.”

The Quicken Loans Scottsdale team proudly subscribes to a company philosophy that encourages giving back to the community, volunteering nearly 800 hours to charitable organizations in 2011, including Phoenix Rescue Mission, St. Mary’s Food Bank, and the Pat Tillman Foundation.
