Morris Property Management, Inc. Raises Money for Associa Cares

-

Nashville, TN – December 8, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Morris Property Management, an Associa company, recently completed a year-long event, the NASCAR Chase for Charity, to help raise nearly $600 for Associa Cares.

“Office events are a great way to bring our co-workers together and to help raise money for a great cause,” said Morris President and CEO Judy Rose. “The funds raised from this game will be added to the money we have previously raised to help those in need through Associa Cares.”

The game is conducted much like the real NASCAR points system. Each employee that chooses to participate in the event pays $0.75 per race or $27 for the entire season. Every week of the season, employees draw names of the top drivers that will represent them that week. The employees ultimately earn the same amount of points that their respective drivers earned throughout the season. Employees also can get bonus points for having the first car to be involved in a wreck and the winning driver each week receives five bonus points.

Point standings are updated each Monday and articles and highlights of the races are also shared throughout the office. Morris has been conducting the game with employees for several years and through participation, the entire office has been educated on the sport of NASCAR.
