Homes sales and sale prices continue their steady upward trend in Iowa in September. This is the strongest third quarter Iowa has seen in 8 years. The median sale price rose 5.9 percent from September of last year. The median price was $131,750 in September 2014 compared to $139,500 this year.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - February 17, 2015 - (RealEstateRama) --2014 Home Prices in Iowa continued to rise this year according to the official yearly housing trends released by the Iowa Association of REALTORS®. The median sale price improved 1.5 percent. The median price was $134,000 compared to $132,000 in 2013.
