Poloncarz Announces County Lawsuit Against Federal Morgage Giants

ERIE COUNTY, NY - March 20, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today, Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz was joined by Erie County Attorney Michael Siragusa in announcing that Erie County (“the County”) has filed a lawsuit against the Federal National Mortgage Association (“Fannie Mae”) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (“Freddie Mac”) to recover millions of dollars in unpaid real estate transfer taxes.
